Music is the soundtrack of life, or rather it can be if you let it. Music is also a big part of my foundation. I started off pursuing music way before the art took off. When looking to create this piece, I looked towards my inspirations. Lil Wayne has been in the game for YEARS, I'm talking 20+ years at this point. Talk about a man dedicated to his craft....But I couldn't just do a Lil Wayne piece, I wanted to play on the fact that video games are also one of my biggest passions. Therefore I created this art piece, which is the best of 3 worlds: The Rap/Hip-Hop world with Lil Wayne's mixtape series the Dedication, Ash Ketchum of Pokemon fame with his journey to become the greatest Pokemon Master of all time and being dedicated to that goal from 1996 all the way until now, and also me being dedicated to thinking outside of the box, never giving up and providing confidence towards the folks that tend to let go of things that their peers deemed aren't cool anymore.
